Pleasant Ridge has many ministries in which we are involved. Here are just a few:

Children’s Ministry

It is the mission of the Pleasant Ridge Children's Ministry to partner with parents as they teach their child to WALK with God and lead them into a life-changing walk with Jesus Christ.

          Wonder at God's marvelous Creation

Accept God's amazing gift of love

Love and Live as Jesus did

Know God in a very real way

Youth Ministry

We exist to lead teenagers into a life-changing walk with Jesus Christ.

Our ministry encompasses 7th – 12th grade students from Arlington, Kennedale, Mansfield, and South Grand Prairie areas.  If you are curious to learn more about youth ministry at Pleasant Ridge, please visit our youth ministry website.

Helping in the Community

Christ's Haven - a children's home located in Keller, Texas. PR provides a gift card for the birthday of each child to assist in the purchase of cake, gifts, etc.

Friends Speak - a ministry outreach partnered with North Davis Church of Christ in which we practice English using God's word with International students in friendship relationships at NDCC, PRCC and UTA's Christian Campus Center (TriC).

Arlington Hearts & Hands - A nonprofit organization for food and clothing distribution housed in the North Davis Church of Christ property serving as a community outreach to those in need. A ten member Board of Directors from Arlington Churches of Christ oversees the work. PR gathers supplies through food drives and monetary contributions.

Tri-C - Christian Campus Center.  Located on the campus at UTA, the Tri-C ministers to the staff and students at UTA by providing meals, a food pantry, worship opportunities, fellowship, and service projects.

Forty-niners - a group made up of adult Christians 55+.

Hope Chest - a ministry in which we provide support and funds for those within our own family here at PR who are in need of assistance.

Women's Ministry - one of our most active ministries. Within this ministry, there are service activities, social activities, and classes.
