Kids enjoying annual Easter Egg Hunt and Lunch

Pleasant Ridge has many ministries in which we are involved. Here are just a few:

Children’s Ministry

It is the mission of the Pleasant Ridge Children's Ministry to partner with parents as they teach their child to WALK with God and lead them into a life-changing walk with Jesus Christ.

          Wonder at God's marvelous Creation

Accept God's amazing gift of love

Love and Live as Jesus did

Know God in a very real way

The Children's Ministry includes classes for all ages every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening.  We invite everyone to join us for a time in God's Word.

We have many fun family oriented events throughout the year, including our Easter Egg Hunt and Lunch, Vacation Bible School, Back-to-School Ice Cream Socials, and our Family Festival in the fall.  Please check our events page for upcoming events.  If you have any questions regarding our Children's Ministry, please contact our Children's Minister, Lou Ann Jordan

Youth Ministry

We exist to lead teenagers into a life-changing walk with Jesus Christ.

Our ministry encompasses 7th – 12th grade students from Arlington, Kennedale, Mansfield, and South Grand Prairie areas.  If you are curious to learn more about youth ministry at Pleasant Ridge, please reach out to our Youth Minister, Connor Newsom.

Music Ministry

In addition to our Mic’d Singers who help lead worship on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, the music ministry also consists of The Ridge Tones. This is a choir outside of our usual worship times which learns choral music and performs at the church building several times a year, as well as performances in the community such as nursing homes and retirement centers.

The Ridge Tones are an un-auditioned choir, and all voices are welcome. We meet at the church building on Monday nights throughout the year from 6:30 – 8:00. If you are interested in joining The Ridge Tones, please fill out this form.

A ten member Board of Directors from Arlington Churches of Christ oversees the work. PR gathers supplies through food drives and monetary contributions.
