Women's Ministry
Ministry Purpose
Being a daughter, wife, mother and friend can be very rewarding, but in today’s world, it can also be very challenging. The women of Pleasant Ridge have worked together to offer areas of ministry to provide encouragement, edification, rejuvenation, and fellowship. If it were not for all of the different women working in each ministry, the ministries could not function correctly and possibly could not continue. The Ministry Committee simply serves to coordinate these efforts to enhance the lives of the women of Pleasant Ridge.
To help the women of Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ glorify God through service. This is accomplished by:
1. Helping each woman identify her gift/gifts and to help her find a ministry in which to use these gifts.
2. Seeing that each woman’s needs are met through fellowship, service and education.
3. Establishing and maintaining a continuity and cooperation in the ministries of the women at Pleasant Ridge.
4. Using the avenues of organization and communication to accomplish these first three objectives.
Areas of Ministry
